YOSEMITE RIVERSIDE INN is nestled in a natural park-like setting overlooking the Middle Fork of the Tuolumne River near Buck Meadows just off of State Route 120, the Northern Yosemite Highway. From here one can walk to nearby attractions to picnic or swim at Rainbow Pool and feel refreshed by a waterfall. White water rafting, trout fishing and boating are major attractions to this area. You may even get lucky at Gold Panning right here along the river's edge. If your heart is set on playing golf or riding horses at Pine Mountain Lake Stables, it's only a 20 minute drive toward Groveland. Visitors come to hike, go antique shopping or just relax while enjoying the views during their Yosemite vacation.

Our central location between the California Gold Country and YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK allows the visitor a wide range of scenic sights and activities. Yosemite Valley may be your primary destination, but when your travel plans call for a longer stay, it's a short drive to Hetch Hetchy. Often called "the Tuolumne Yosemite" by John Muir, the Sierra Club founder, this enchanted area is one of the least visited regions in Yosemite Park. Or, you can follow the historic Tioga Pass Road up to Tuolumne Meadows and drive across the crest of the High Sierra at an elevation of nearly 10,000 feet (3,031 meters). Mono Lake, one of North America's oldest lakes, lies beyond the crest along the route to Lake Tahoe.

Guests of  YOSEMITE RIVERSIDE INN are invited to start the day with a Continental Breakfast (seasonally available) which is included with the price of your room. There is a good selection of restaurants nearby at Buck Meadows, or in Groveland, all within a 5 to 15 minute drive. For those who bring their own food, we provide picnic tables and barbecue grills for outdoor cooking.
